Post Event: Building the future Supply Chain

May 13, 2015 Replica EMEA - in collaboration with Honeywell Vocollect Solutions, Obase, Tesisquare and KFI Turk – held the event “Building the future Supply Chain” in Istanbul - Turkey - focusing on innovative technology and solutions for the Supply Chain Management.

During the event, attendees had the opportunity to get a comprehensive overview of what today’s market can offer in terms of warehouse management applications integrated with voice-directed solutions, business intelligence and collaborative supply-chain applications.

The seminar has started with a deep analysis of the main traits of Logistics in the Turkish market by mr. Atilla Yildiztekin one of the most influential and renowned Logistics Consultant in Turkey

Thereafter mr. Luca Venturini - Export Manager of Replica EMEA – has presented Schneider Electric’s case study outlining all the steps that have been taken to considerably increase Precision, Efficiency and Productivity thanks to StockSystemEvolution WMS which made-it possible for Schneider Electric to keep pace with the market demand and to face future competition.

Then Mr. Antonino Lanza, Honeywell, Vocollect Solutions – has given the audience insight into how logistics management can effectively benefit from voice-directed solutions and speech recognition through figures and data actually proving the Return On Investment resulting from enhanced efficiency and productivity.

After the Coffee Break, mr. Onursal Eşin - Obase Business Intelligence Group Manager – has provided an overview of the Microstrategy Business Intelligence capabilities offered to significantly enhance the Supply Chain.

At the end mr. Massimo Crivello and Eugenio Artusio from TESISQUARE have introduced the latest tools and technology available to get full control of the entire Supply Chain at any time, in any place.

Atilla Yıldıztekin graduated from ODTU Machine Engineering Department in 1973 and he worked at An-Pa Anadolu Pazarlama Company as branch manager. Between 1994-1994 he worked as excom member of Borusan Makina ( Caterpillar Dealer). He established Borusan Logistics Company in 1999, Arkas Logistics in 2002 , Aras Logistics in 2004. As from March 2005, Atilla Yıldıztekin was working as an independent Logistics and Supply Chain Consultant for more than 70 local and international companies. He was taking part in many privatization projects including Mersin Port, İskenderun Port, Derince Port. He prepared Logistics Master Plans for Mersin, Samsun, Hatay , Osmaniye, 1. part Logistics Master Plan of Kocaeli Region.
Mister Yıldıztekin who wrote in more than 40 magazines and “Perşembe Rotası” on Dünya Newspaper for 13 years, participates on many television programs. He served as board member on MARLIM (Turkey Ports Association) , UTIKAD (International Transportation and Logistics Services Association, UND (International Forwarders Association), LODER Logistics Association. He was the president of Turkey Round Table Group of CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals), giving several lectures at Yeditepe University on master degree.

Technology enthusiast, Antonino Lanza has contributed to set the market for the voice-directed work in many Mediterranean countries during the last ten years.
His almost 30 years of experience in IT and mobile solutions counts an international experience and a solid technical background having served as Q.A. engineer, product and marketing manager, business unit and country manager.
Much recently, Antonino has focused his efforts in developing the Turkish and the Middle East markets for the Honeywell Vocollect voice solutions.



Onursal Eşin

Obase – Business Intelligence Group Manager

Onursal Eşin, Business Intelligence Group Manager joined Obase in 2007. He is responsible for development and Management of BI sales and professional services.
He completed his under graduate studies in Istanbul Technical University in 2000, and then received his graduate degrees from Istanbul Technical University. He is still studing MBA program in Istanbul Bilgi University.
He is still working as group manager of Business Intelligence. He is managing the professional services of bi consultancy over 5 years in Obase.

He was born in Carmagnola (Torino-Italy) on March 8, 1970 Massimo Crivello began his work experience in Cedati srl as a programmer analyst in the creation of management solutions.
In March 1997, he began his experience as a Project Manager in Tesi SpA and quickly became a benchmark in the management solutions in the area of Supply Chain Collaboration (Extended SCM - Execution - Procurement).
His professional career evolved, passing through the role of Solution Manager and embracing solutions for the Transportation processes.
He coordinates an important team organized by project (delivery lab and project managers). He works with large companies, offering solutions for the enhancement of inbound transportation and aimed at improving SCM and TMS process efficiency.
In 2012, in coherence with the international development process of the company, he attended the Master in “Strategies and internationalization processes” at the Polytechnic of Milan.

Eugenio Artusio

He was born in Alba (Torino-Italy) on July 23rd , 1958 Eugenio Artusio began his work experience in Miroglio Spa, textile/fashion company, as a programmer, than analyst and project manager.
In 2000 he was required to provide analysis , reporting and planning calculation in sourcing grey and yarn area. In 2001 , always in same company, entered in Purchasing department as Purchasing manager for grey fabrics and yarns building a large experience in dealing international business.
In January 2006, entered in Tesi SpA as Specialist and business developer oriented to the management and solution in the Supply Chain area.
In 2012, in coherence with the international development process of the company, he attended the Master in “Strategies and internationalization processes” at the Polytechnic of Milan.
In these last year, due to internationalization of TESISQUARE, got the role of Presales consultant.

Airport Connections

There are several options to reach Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul. Guests can choose between hotel limousine pick-up, taxi, bus, boat and helicopter.

Taxi

Taxis are available for hire at both airports. A one-way journey will cost approximately EUR 25 from Istanbul Ataturk International Airport and EUR 40 - EUR 45 from Sabiha Gokcen International Airport.

Bus

An airport shuttle bus service (Havatas) is available from both airports. It departs every 30 minutes between 4am and 1am every day. The ride takes approximately 60 to 75 minutes and stops at the city centre, Taksim Square. From there, you may use a taxi to reach the hotel.
